Robert Anton Wilson wurde am 18.01.1932 in New York (Brooklyn) geboren.
Er studierte Mathematik, Elektrotechnik, Englisch, Pädagogik und graduierte in Psychologie.
Als Mitarbeiter des Playboys konnte er u.a. redaktionelle Erfahrungen sammeln.
Robert Anton Wilson ist Vize des "Institute for the Study of Human Future" in Berkeley.
R. A. Wilson ist ebenso ein Vertreter des "erhöhten Bewußtseins" sowie ein Liebhaber der Jazz Musik.
Er selber beschreibt seinen ersten & ernsten Kontakt mit dieser "erweiterten Erkenntniß" um 1957.
